The Vicarage
A dramatic extension to a Listed former Vicarage.
This large home lacked connections to the garden and its north facing kitchen was small with little natural light. Herlig created this dramatic rear extension with statement lattice ribbed roof light. The new extension is punctuated with windows and glazed doors are nearly all sides letting the user connect with daylight and engage with nature.
This contemporary space juxtaposes with the Victorian era host building which is Grade II Listed thereby not competing but complimenting.
