The client approached Herlig to obtain permission for an extension in order to improve their home’s accommodation with the aim of selling the property.
The resulting octagonal sitting room was so loved they decided to stay.
One of the few remaining octagonal walled gardens in the UK led Herlig to create a solution that did not dilute the wall with an extension that straddled or attached. Instead, the nearly freestanding octagonal extension lies outside the wall and respectfully connects gently with a glass link.
